The Function was organized On 09-07-2017 at Egmore Museum and our chief guest was Thiru. V.Kalyanam (He Was the Personal Secretary to Mahathma Gandhiji). In India, First time Panic button was launched by Aathma Foundation. The device comes at a cost of Rs.7,500,but our Aathma Foundation is giving at free-of-cost. The Foundation is planned to give 100 Panic buttons to underprivileged senior citizens. So far, 32 panic buttons have been distributed.
Panic Button is a device meant to help for senior citizens in emergencies.
Water-proof, the device can be worn even when the person is taking a bath. The moment a person presses the panic button, three messages will be sent to the 108 ambulance, a neighbor and an immediate relative.
Someone in charge of 108 ambulances will call the neighbor or the relative and ask them about the condition of the person. If he is fine, the matter ends there. Otherwise, the ambulance will arrive at the spot.
